2008-2009 NCAA Tournament

The Tigers went undefeated for the third straight year at 16-0 for the second year in a row, and claimed the regular season and C-USA tournament titles for the fourth straight year. As a #2 seed in the West Region, Memphis defeated Cal State Northridge and Maryland in Kansas City, MO. The Tigers moved on to the Sweet Sixteen matchup with Missouri, where they fell 102-91 and ended the season at 33-4.
Antonio Anderson, Robert Dozier, and Chance McGrady became the winningest college players in NCAA history with 137 wins over their careers.
