1986-1987 NCAA Tournament
Memphis returned to the NCAA tournament in 1987, after posting a 20-9 record during the 1986-1987 season. Despite losing in the first round of the Metro Conference Tournament, Memphis earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Lady Tigers lost a heartbreaker to the University of Virginia on the Lady Cavs home court, 76-75.
